Day 1: Airport – Kumai – Proboscis Tour – Houseboat
Upon your arrival in Pangkalan Bun Airport, meeting service with our staff and guide then direct transfer to Kumai. It will take about 20 minutes. Upon your arrival in Kumai direct transfer to the houseboat, Lunch will be provided Onboard. Afterward boating down Kumai River approximately 15 minutes to reach Seikonyer River, the main river in Tanjung Puting National Park. Cruise up the Seikonyer river you will see nice vegetation around the river bank, Nipa Palm, Pandanus, and some kind of trees that grow up around the river. See some wildlife such as birds, Macaque, Proboscis Monkey and Orangutan, if the time still enough you will visit Orangutan feeding in Tanjung Harapan at 15:00. Then At 16:00 return back to the boat and continue boating up to observe and learn more about Proboscis monkeys along the river banks. Proboscis monkeys are being the endemic animal that can be seen only in Borneo. Dinner and Overnight in the Super Deluxe Houseboat.
Day 2: Houseboat – Camp Leakey – Houseboat
After breakfast, visit the Orangutan feeding at 09:00 am and enjoy your time while taking some pictures. Then at 10:00 am return back to the houseboat and continue boating up to Camp Leakey. Camp Leakey is the highlight of National Park. You will be passing by the black river which is full of wildlife within such as any kind of birds, primates, fish, also crocodiles. Lunch will be served by our own cook with special various food. On arrival in Camp Leakey, you will visit IC (Information Center) to see all work of DR. Birute Galdikas while she studies the orangutan here start from 1971 until today. Enjoy your time until 14:00, trekking up into the forest to see orangutan feeding, enjoy the time till 16:00 back to the boat and boating down direct to the Nipa Palm area to see a thousand fireflies. Dinner and overnight in the houseboat.
Day 3: Houseboat – Kumai – Lopus Dayak Village
Early Morning, breakfast on board direct transfer to Lopus Village by private Car. It will take around 5 hours. Lunch will provide en route in the local restaurant. Upon your arrival in Lopus Village sightseeing around the village then you have some free program in the afternoon. In the evening after dinner, you will be welcomed by the Dayak Tomun with their Bagondang ceremony. Here you might allow dancing with the Dayak people while they will serve you with the rice wine. Enjoy the ceremony and back to the longhouse / local house for sleeping.
Day 4: Lopus Dayak Village – Trekking up into the Primary forest – Overnight on the tent in the Forest
After breakfast drive up to Muhur Village, it is the starting point to do trekking. It takes for 1-hour drive from Lopus Village. Upon your arrival in Muhur Village continue trekking up into the forest. Here you will experience and enjoy life in the oldest primary forest in Borneo. You will pass by several small rivers that floating down from the main forest. The water here is very clean and you could take Mandi or swim on a very shallow river. On arrival on the place you will spend a night, your porter and guide will set up a tent while the cook will provide your lunch. Dinner and overnight in the forest on a tent.
Day 5: Tent – Muhur – Kudangan – Pangkalan Bun – Hotel
After breakfast trekking up to the waterfall and swimming there. Enjoy your time till we return back to Muhur area where we parking our private car. Then continue drive back to Kudangan and Pangkalan Bun for another 5 hours. Lunch will be served en route in the local restaurant. On arrival in Pangkalan Bun direct transfer to the hotel. Dinner is under your own budget and overnight in the hotel.
Day 6: Tent Muhur – Kudangan – Pangakalan Bun – Hotel
Breakfast in the hotel and free on your leisure before we transfer you up to the Airport for your next destination. End of the Tour.
